This is the first glitch of the season. Kang-In Lee, the Korean rookie who started the first two days, is forfeited against Lens this Saturday and in Lyon on September 3. “Hit in the left quadriceps, Kang-In Lee will remain in treatment at least until the end of the next international break”, publishes this Tuesday the PSG in a press release.

Ligue 1 stops from September 4 to 15 to make way for international matches of national teams. The France team thus receives Ireland on September 7 at the Parc des Princes as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers before traveling to Dortmund for a friendly match against Germany. Lee, currently used on the right and left of the PSG attack, is therefore forfeited at least until September 17 and the reception of Nice. Depending on the evolution of his injury, he could miss other outings, such as the Champions League, the group stage of which resumes on September 19 and 20.

It’s a small blow for Luis Enrique’s team who wanted to integrate the former Mallorca player into their midfield to bring more creativity to this sector. The Spanish coach will have to find another solution, as soon as Lens arrives this Saturday at 9 p.m. at the Parc des Princes on behalf of the 3rd day of Ligue 1.
