A ministerial reform should only happen after the president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) return to Brazil. Until then, several possibilities are aired, including the PSB losing the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Servicesheaded by the Vice President, Geraldo Alckmin. However, Alckmin says he does not see a problem with an eventual release of the folder. “This is the confidence of the President of the Republic. He has complete freedom to occupy ministries through various parties and leaderships. No problem. Our mission is to serve the president, the government and the country,” said Alckmin. The statement was given during an event in the city of Araçariguama, in the interior of São Paulo, which brought together companies to discuss the truck and bus fleet renewal program. The initiative has an investment of R$ 1 billion. This was Alckmin’s third appointment in São Paulo, where he fulfills his economic agenda. Earlier, Alckmin praised the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) for the speed in approving issues considered important by the government, such as the fiscal framework and the tax reform.
