Torres calls for his immediate resignation
“What Rubiales has to do is resign. His behavior has been pitiful. He cannot continue for one more minute as president of the Federation and if he does not resign, Pedro Sánchez must intervene to sanction him and proceed to disqualify him,” he stated. “What we saw was unacceptable. Rubiales’ apologies are not enough, they are not even adequate, and he has to continue taking steps to clarify what we saw,” were the words of the Prime Minister on this issue.
