Various factors must be taken into account to ensure that the price and performance of a laptop are also right. What at first glance looks like a real bargain can turn out to be a real bad buy when it is used later if the device cannot keep up with its own requirements. You can save yourself such trouble by comparing the most important features in advance.
Tip: In contrast to HDD, SSD storage ensures speed when booting up and working.
A laptop up to 500 euros is ideally characterized by its good inner values: The main memory should now be at least four gigabytes so that even basic programs or simple games can be used without the laptop showing signs of overload. On the other hand, at least eight gigabytes are even better in order to cope with more complex tasks, several programs at the same time or smooth gameplay. As a compromise, you might be able to save on storage space – you might not need 256 gigabytes at all if many photos and videos might already end up in the cloud or on an external hard drive anyway.
