The company is owned by Iliya Gangov and was established in 2010. On the “Vivagro” website, we read that the farmer started with the production of wheat, barley and sunflower on rented land in the village of Stroevo. In just four years, he increased the area he cultivated 10 times, while at the same time modernizing the machinery on his farm. In 2018, Iliya Gangov started producing tomatoes for canning.

The intention of the investor is to build an enterprise in which to process its own production – about 6 thousand tons of tomatoes per year. “Vivagro” will make canned tomatoes with peeled tomatoes and with chopped pieces of tomatoes with sauce. The capacity of the workshop will be sufficient for the annual production of over 7.3 million jars.

A warehouse for the storage of the production will also be built at the production plant, it is recorded in the investment intentions published on the website of RISV-Plovdiv.

The energy that the plant will use is from wood pellets, which will feed a steam plant with steam production. In addition, the construction of a grid photovoltaic system for own needs with a capacity of 105.6 kilowatts is planned.

There will be a separate collection of domestic and industrial wastewater.
