The inter-district tournament ”Youth Solidarity UP-R” of Allada-center placed under the high sponsorship of the Honorable Solange Afiavi MEHOU HOUEDANOU had its epilogue, on Sunday August 20, 2023, on the sports field of the College of General Education 1 of Allada. It was the FC Gbowèlè team that took the trophy in the final against the Sokoudenou team.

Under the patronage of the Honorable Solange Afiavi MEHOU HOUEDANOU, young people from the fourteen (14) districts of the central district of Allada participated in a football tournament called ”Youth Solidarity UP-R”. The final of this competition which promotes talents and fraternity between the sons and daughters of the commune of Allada opposed Sokoudenou and FC Gbowèlèle on Sunday August 20, 2023, in the presence of activists from the Union progressive le Renouveau, from the five communes of the fifth electoral constituency.

According to the president of the organizing committee, RovackAbaloulo, this tournament is organized to create a healthy and lucrative distraction to occupy the youth who are so dear and precious to the godmother, the Honorable Solange MEHOU. During his speech, he did not forget to thank the Member of Parliament for Union Progressive, Le Renouveau, who did not hesitate before sponsoring the initiative: “This is an opportunity for me to send all my gratitude to this great lady with a heart of gold who never ceases to express herself through several initiatives, her love and her attachment to all social strata in general and to young people, a guarantee of development in particular”, he said before emphasizing: “This tournament allowed and favored the contact, the fusion, the mixing and the communion of all the young people of the central district, because each match was a real moment of celebration. »

This tournament which is a total success did not leave indifferent its initiator, Crecel CAMUS. “The mobilization was total. We recorded more than two thousand spectators for a match of small camp. A strong colony of UP-R activists from Toffo came to support the final. There are some who have come from Ouidah, from Tori, the entire fifth electoral district is mobilized. Really it is a success for the youth”, rejoiced Crecel CAMUS. He seized the ball to thank the godmother, because apart from the trophy of the winning team and the envelopes of the finalists, she offered sets of jerseys to the fourteen teams of the tournament.

At the head of the delegation of the Progressive Union the Renewal of Toffo, the head of the district of Sey, Françoise Assogba, did not hide her satisfaction: “Everything went well. We thank our young people for their fair play and their courage. We wish them a good end to the holidays and a good recovery. It is our contribution to the development and fulfillment of our young people during the holidays,” she suggested.
