Participation of the President of Burundi in the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa: Strengthening International Ties

Bujumbura, 23/08/2023 – In harmony with Burundian foreign policy, His Excellency Ndayishimiye Evariste, Major General and President of Burundiflew to Johannesburg to take part in the 15th BRICS Summit. This invitation was extended by his counterpart, His Excellency Ramaphosa Cyril, President of South Africa.

Since 2022 and the war in Ukraine, the world has adopted a multipolar configuration, marking the end of the hegemony of the GUAN [1].
