SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Positivo Tecnologia is focusing all its efforts on expanding its presence in the services and solutions market, aiming to increase the share of its revenue in this sector, currently at 6%, to between 15% and 20%, he said. the company’s president, Helio Bruck Rotenberg.

At an event with journalists in São Paulo, the executive emphasized the company’s commitment to revenue diversification and growth in the services segment, highlighting the strategic importance of this movement in the coming years.

“(Services) is where we will put all our efforts to grow more in the coming years”, he said, presenting a graph in which he divides the company’s participation in the areas of consumption, commerce and services.

“We are 6% today in services, and we want this 6% to grow. This is the most difficult thing for us to predict, how much it will grow. We would very much like it to reach 15%, 20%”, he said. “How long does that take? A lot depends on whether the growth will be organic or inorganic.”

Services include the Positivo Tech Services ecosystem, which ranges from computer repair and software installation to the management of companies’ IT departments, Educational Technology, with learning support solutions, and Positivo HaaS, for hardware leasing.

Recently, Positivo also launched the PositivoSEG automation and electronic security unit, focused on companies that provide installation services for end customers and investments of around 40 million reais.

“Why do we think we will succeed?… because we have a very good capillarity in Brazil, we have 12,000 points of sale, 250 technical assistance points, 4,000 resellers… So we are in the country whole,” he said.

“The major software and hardware players in the world, chip producers for example… are very interested in establishing partnerships with us, because we are very strong in Brazil”, he added, citing companies such as Intel ( NASDAQ:) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:).

According to Positivo, the company’s addressable market adds up to 117 billion reais in 2023, with 73 billion reais in hardware and 44 billion reais in services.
