An accident involving a minibus carrying seven minors, aged 10 to 14, left eight injured, five of whom are in absolute emergency, announced Friday evening the prefecture of Lot-et-Garonne.

The accident of the vehicle on board which were the seven minors and the driver occurred on a secondary road in the village of Houeillès, located near the Landes. The minibus, which was transporting children who were staying in a holiday center in Sauméjan, near Houeillès, violently hit the parapet of a bridge before tipping into a ditch, according to the newspaper South West.
“These young people, from the Oise and the Paris region, were housed in a center in Sauméjan. This minibus was followed by a second, carrying seven children, taken care of in a state of shock., he says. The injured were evacuated to the hospital departments of Bordeaux-Pellegrin, Agen and Mont-de-Marsan. A medico-psychological emergency cell was opened.
