SEOUL: The eastern nation of North Korea has resumed testing a state-of-the-art ‘hypersonic’ missile amid protests from several countries, including the United States.
North Korea continues to develop nuclear weapons despite opposition from many countries. North Korea has developed a state-of-the-art ‘hypersonic’ missile that can travel at 5 times the speed of sound. It was first tested in Sept. last year.
The second test of the missile took place yesterday. North Korea says the missile hit a target at a range of 700 km. North Korea has been involved in testing the missile amid the threat of a corona virus, which is seen as a challenge to the United States and South Korea.
