The government must take a single test across the country to fill the approximately eight thousand vacancies in the public service of the Federal Executive Branch. The proposal was presented this Friday (25th) by the Secretary of Personnel Management of the Ministry of Management, José Celso Cardoso Jr., to the government bodies authorized to carry out public tenders.
Adherence of ministries to the Unified National Contest will be voluntary. The notice must be published by December with the test scheduled for February 25, 2024. In total, there are 7,826 vacancies, which were grouped into eight thematic blocks. The goal is to carry out the test in around 180 cities, simultaneously, across the country.
The test will be divided into two moments on the same date: objective tests with a matrix common to all candidates and specific and dissertation tests by thematic blocks. The overall results of the first phase should be announced by the end of April 2024 and the start of training courses, between June and July of next year.
The test will be organized from a general coordination composed by the Ministry of Management and Innovation, the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), the Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea), the National School of Public Administration (Enap) and the Attorney General’s Office (AGU). The participation of the sectoral commissions of each of the bodies involved is also foreseen.
