The World Health Organization has warned against describing the Omigron strain as causing minor side effects. It also claims that the Omigron strain is killing people around the world.

“The Omigron strain of the corona virus seems to have a lower disease severity than the Delta strain, especially for those who have been vaccinated, so Omigron cannot be classified as mild,” Tetros told a news conference Thursday.
“Like previous strains, the Omigron strain puts people in hospital for treatment, which kills people.
“In fact, the number of people suffering from corona is very high in a short period of time, which severely affects health systems around the world.” Said Tetros.
Omigran strain is highly contagious and can cause infections even in fully vaccinated people.
Vaccines play an important role in protecting people from being seriously ill and hospitalized.
One lakh 79 thousand 756 people were infected with corona in the UK on Thursday and 231 people died due to corona infection. Many hospitals in the country have reported a shortage of health workers and an increasing incidence of so-called Critical Incidents due to increasing corona pressure.
The number of people admitted to hospitals in other countries is increasing. It is worth recalling that French Health Minister Olivier Verne warned this week that January 2022 would be difficult for hospitals.
