Saratov Rospotrebnadzor warned of the dangers when visiting a bath and a sauna

by time news

The sanitary department has posted recommendations that are important to follow when visiting a bath or sauna – so as not to endanger your health. Rospotrebnadzor reminds that saunas and baths should be located in separate buildings. “We do not recommend visiting a bathhouse or a sauna if it is located in a residential apartment building, since when a bathhouse is located in a residential building, it is almost impossible to comply with all the requirements for water supply, sewerage, ventilation and sanitary and epidemiological regimes,” the department reports.

The optimum temperature must be maintained in the sauna rooms (in the dressing room – the air temperature is 25 – 28 ° C, in the soap room – at least 25 ° C). To achieve the required microclimate parameters, air conditioning systems are allowed.

Rospotrebnadzor points out: when visiting a sauna, it is important to pay attention to the sharp and strong smell of chlorine, which indicates hyperchlorination of water and possible negative consequences for the human body – allergic reactions. In this case, it is better not to use public fonts or swimming pools in saunas and baths.
