Before anyone mentions the word nepotism, now that Adam Sandler premieres You’re Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah on Netflix, in which his two daughters and his wife also star, let’s remember that the Great Dad actor usually works with friends Both actors and directors.

In other words, when considering a project -Sandler has his own production company, Happy Madison Productions-, Sandler surrounds himself with well-known people, with similar tastes and no one can doubt his merits and ability.
But in You’re Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! Adam is not the lead, but instead has left the spotlight to his youngest daughter, Sunny, who plays Stacy Friedman, a 13-year-old girl who dreams of a big bat mitzvah, possibly with music stars. Lots of reference to New York City.
The Torah (the Jewish law book) would interest him, but not too much.
Like many quinceañeras around here, Stacy daydreams about the big party she’s going to throw, the day she “becomes an adult.” She doesn’t do it alone, as she has her best friend since they were younger, Lydia (Samantha Lorraine) imagining her party, and hers. One is going to write the speech of the other, and the other is going to prepare the presentation video of the first.
