Bus driver robbed by passenger in Kallebäck

Early Monday morning, a bus driver in Kallebäck was attacked and robbed by a passenger. The incident occurred shortly before 02.00 at a terminal stop. According to reports, the passenger approached the bus driver and struck him on the arm before stealing his mobile phone.

The bus driver was alone with the passenger at the time of the robbery. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the driver unharmed. Police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr confirmed that a patrol was dispatched to the stop to search for the suspect.

“We conducted a search with a dog, among other methods, but unfortunately, we were unable to find him,” said Svedemyr.

The missing passenger is now a suspect in the robbery case. Fortunately, the bus driver did not sustain any physical injuries during the incident.
