Radhe Shyam, a multi-lingual film starring Prabhas, has also postponed its January 14 release. Pooja Hegde will play the lead role in the film directed by Radhakrishna Kumar.

The release of the big budget movie ‘Valimai’ starring Ajith Kumar has also been postponed. The film, which was slated to release on the 13th of this month, has been postponed due to Kovid circumstances. The film is directed by H. Vinod. The ‘Valimai’ team said in a statement that they were also looking forward to the theatrical experience of the fans but decided to extend the release for their own safety in the face of increasing Kovid cases. Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, is another big budget film that has been postponed for a January release. The film, directed by Yash Raj Films, was slated to release on January 21. The new release date will be announced later. The film is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
