“In January-July 2023, the consolidated budget of the Brest region received 681.6 million rubles of income tax. The growth rate in comparable prices compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 114.8%,” the press center said.

Income tax has been the main source of income for many years and is characterized by a fairly high share in the tax revenues of the budget of the Brest region – 43.1% for 7 months of the current year.

In the structure of income tax, the main share is occupied by income tax on the wages of individuals – about 90%. Another 10.8% falls on personal income tax, calculated on income received from entrepreneurial activities.
