Social networks denounced the recycling of a minibus from the controversial Peripheral Line in Mexico City.

According to a Facebook post from the Autobuses y Transportes Metropolitanos MX group, the unit was seen near the Martín Carrera Metro.

At the time of driving, it did not have license plates, it had the front lighting on and it even kept the sign in the direction of Ciudad Universitaria.

According to the image, when it circulated in Puebla it had unit number 09 and no further details can be seen.

The appearance of this recycled unit in Mexico City contrasts with the service that the Peripheral Line has offered in Puebla for more than a year.

It no longer uses buses but vans, a situation that, coupled with the lack of routes and non-compliance with schedules, forces users to use pirate taxis.

In recent years, the same line had recycled buses, but in an inverse way, since some units that at some point circulated in Mexico City were used to provide the service in Puebla.

In them, you could even see routes of the capital’s metrobus in some of the maps stuck inside.

On May 5, during the visit of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, it was announced that Puebla would have a fourth line of the Urban Articulated Transport Network (RUTA) that would follow the same route as the Peripheral Line.

Regarding the project, Governor Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina has indicated that they are awaiting a resolution from Banobras for financing.
