Five years after its initial release, and despite all the anticipation surrounding the third entry, State of Decay 2 continues to receive new content with the new Curveball update.
We are very close to receiving update number 34 on our Xbox called Curveball referring to the baseball curveball. Our friends from Undead Labs have been associated with Wushu Studios (who supported the release of updates for Forza Horizon 5), to bring us this new installment that promises to give our survivor communities a twist to welcome autumn.
Curveball: A lethal curved bola
The Curveball Update is a new mechanic that will consist of dynamic events that will have significant consequences for the game in progress. Such events may arise randomly or in response to a decision we have made.
The Curveball update for State of Decay 2 it will add random dynamic events to the game that can greatly influence our survivor communities: changing the resistance, the morale of our characters. In addition, the events will affect the game world (loot, radius, etc.) and the zombies (they will receive mutations that will affect their speed, damage and other characteristics). As the developers of State of Decay 2random events will be able to present a serious challenge for players who have already “seen everything” in the zombie survival project.

The Curveball Update will be available this fall in our Xboxhowever it is already available through the Steam public test server (PTR).
