Miley Cyrus Reflects on Childhood Work Schedule and Decision to Not Tour

In a recent TikTok video series called “Used to Be Young,” Miley Cyrus opens up about her childhood work schedule and her decision to not go on tour.

Cyrus, known for her role in the hit Disney show “Hannah Montana,” shared an old schedule from when she was around 12 or 13 years old. The schedule reveals that she would wake up at 5:30 a.m. for hair and makeup, followed by a long day of press, photoshoots, meetings, and school. She would often work on weekends and have only one day to rest before going back to filming the show.

“I’m a lot of things but lazy ain’t one of them,” Cyrus said in the video. “I do think this girl deserves a little endless summer vacation.”

Despite her previous busy schedule, Cyrus has decided against touring for her latest album, “Endless Summer Vacation,” which was released in March. In May, she took to Instagram to explain her decision.

“Performing for you has been some of the best days of my life, and we will continue this journey together as we have for the last almost two decades,” Cyrus wrote. “This has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation for the fans and everything to do with I simply don’t want to get ready in a locker room. Which is the reality of life on the road. It isn’t what’s best for me right now, and if you’ve been following my career, you know that I always change and the way I feel about that could too. Love you forever.”

Cyrus is now calling the shots in her career and prioritizing her own well-being. She deserves the rest and relaxation after years of hard work and dedication.

Fans may be disappointed about the lack of tours, but they can still enjoy Cyrus’s music and follow her journey through social media. The singer’s decision to take a break shows her commitment to self-care and may lead to even more exciting projects in the future.
