The aid organization wrote in a broadcast on August 30 that false donation collectors are currently on the move in Carinthia. In the Spittal an der Drau district, people were seen collecting donations wearing aid clothing. The charity says they don’t collect donations at the front door. The charity also says these people are scammers.
It is possible that fraudsters are also on the move in other districts in Carinthia. If you see such people, please report it to the police.
