International organizations, non-governmental organizations and UN agencies have seen their activities suspended in areas of military operations, due to the current security situation, by the military regime in power in Niger.

“Due to the current security situation and the current operational commitment of the Nigerien armed forces, the Ministry informs international organizations, national and international NGOs, as well as UN agencies present in Niger, that all activities and movements in the areas of operations are temporarily suspended,” said a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.
