High school students without assignment: a “less tense situation” in Essonne but the town halls remain mobilized

Each year, the start of the new school year turns into real hell for a handful of students entering secondary school. In the worst case, some of them find themselves without any school assignment, others are educated in an establishment far from their home. In order to help them, the cities of Corbeil-Essonnes and Ris-Orangis (Essonne) have set up systems. At the beginning of the summer, the Federation of Parents’ Councils estimated that between 900 and 1,000 students in the department found themselves without assignment.
