The number of corona patients has increased to 30,817 across Tamil Nadu.

As the incidence of corona in Tamil Nadu continues to rise, the Department of Medicine and Public Welfare has released a report on the current situation. Accordingly, out of 1,36,620 samples tested in Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours, 8,981 have been confirmed infected. The total number of corona confirmed persons in the state has increased to 27 lakh 76 thousand 413.
A maximum of 4531 people have been confirmed infected in Chennai today. 1039 people in Chengalpattu, 408 in Coimbatore, 257 in Kanchipuram, 514 in Tiruvallur, 127 in Tiruppur, 216 in Vellore, 160 in Thoothukudi and 184 in Trichy have been diagnosed with corona.
Today 984 people have been discharged after treatment in a single day. Thus the total number of people recovering from corona in Tamil Nadu has increased to 27 lakh 8 thousand 763.
Eight people have died in a single day today due to the corona virus infection. The death toll from the corona has risen to 36,833. The number of corona patients has increased to 30,817 across Tamil Nadu.
No new omega-3 infection has been reported in Tamil Nadu. So far 121 people have been affected by omega.
