TORONTO: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has strongly condemned those who drink and hang on a plane without following Corona prevention rules, calling them ‘idiots’.
Countries around the world have imposed various restrictions to prevent the spread of the omega-3 virus. A businessman from Canada, a North American country, took his staff to Mexico on a private plane for the New Year. In the middle of the day, scenes of them drinking and smoking were posted on social media and came under heavy criticism.
The airline has since denied any wrongdoing, saying it could not bring the gang back without following Corona’s rules. Two other airlines, like this one, refused to bring them to Canada.
Commenting on the incident, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said: “People are suffering from the inability to celebrate Christmas with their families due to corona control rules. In this case, those who do not wear a face mask and shout uncontrollably on the plane are called idiots. Thus he said.
