Tijuana, BC- They continue to invite homeless people to join Integrating Lives, informed Gerardo López Montes, Secretary of Municipal Welfare.
Most of the populations are of legal age, so it is rare to find youth in the pipeline.
He pointed out that it must be stopped due to the will of the citizen to receive the treatment for the issue of respecting the human rights of the citizens and properly by the Human Rights institution that has indicated that it should not be insisted or forced.

The Municipal Welfare official recalled that there are two therapeutic centers of the program integrating lives, one for men and the other for women. Likewise, other rehabilitation centers have been integrated to receive people voluntarily.
 
Tours continue, there is a group Monday, Wednesday and Friday and some days we change (to invite the population to go to a therapeutic center if required)”, added López Montes.
He affirmed that he continues with the support of exchange of syringes for a public health issue, in addition to the program “Integrating Lives” they take showers, clean clothes, basic medicine, psychologists, counselors, healing material and medical services.
“We want to further reinforce the issue that if they don’t tell us that they want to integrate consume carefully, take extreme precautions to avoid further contagion,” concluded López Montes.
