Prince William and Princess Kate’s summer break ends next week

It starts again next week for Prince William and Princess Kate.

William and Kate are currently enjoying their summer break with the kids. But in the coming week the royal duties will start again.

Duty calls: For Prince William (41) and Princess Kate (41) will end their summer break next week at the latest when school starts again for their three children. For Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) the new school year starts on Wednesday (September 6) at Lambrook School. Last year, the trio started school together in their school uniforms. Her parents took her to preschool day for new students.

George and Charlotte previously attended Thomas’s Battersea School, which is not far from Kensington Palace in London. Louis was at Willcocks Nursery School. However, the family’s move to Windsor marked a change – and for the first time all three children were in the same school together.

Royal duties in line with children’s school schedule

Prince William and Princess Kate are also expected to return to royal service soon after the children have settled in for the new school year. Whether that will be on September 8 is unlikely. Because the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death (1926-2022) should be spent in a private atmosphere. No public or private family gatherings are planned.

As reported by “People” magazine, the royal duties of the parents are coordinated with the children’s school schedule. William and Kate should drive the three of them to school regularly and also make sure they are home again when they get home from school in the evenings. “The children seem very happy with their lives,” a palace insider was quoted as saying. “A lot of it is the stabilizing normality that Kate brings – that’s how she grew up.” William should appreciate that very much.

A trip to New York City is planned

Prince William already has a major work trip planned: he will travel to New York City on September 18-19 for events including the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit. The event is in preparation for the Earthshot Prize 2023 awards ceremony, which will take place on November 7th in Singapore.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ last public appearance was in July, when they attended the men’s final at Wimbledon alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Most recently, pictures showed the couple on their way to the service at Balmoral Castle. Queen Camilla (76) and King Charles III are currently spending there. (74) their summer vacation.

It is said that Kate and William spent the summer break with their children at their country estate in Norfolk, Anmer Hall. In previous interviews, the couple have spoken about some of the activities the kids enjoy there – from baking and cooking in the kitchen to arts and crafts projects.
