The South Tyrolean was defeated in the second round of the Internazionali d’Italia, beaten by the number two in the world with a score of 7-5, 6-4.
Sinner managed to nullify three matchpoints from Nadal but on the fourth attempt he could do nothing against his opponent’s mastery.
