The National Grain Growers Association (NOT) reported making a substantial contribution to writing the draft of the additions in Ordinance No. 4 from 2023 on the conditions and procedure for submitting support applications for area and animal support interventions.

2023 is the first year of implementation of interventions with these requirements.
A preliminary check by the State Fund “Agriculture” of the submitted applications for support showed that a large number of the farmers who applied did not attach the necessary documents within the 3-week deadline set for the purpose, which expired on August 14.
In addition, Regulation 3 stipulates that corrections can be made by September 30, but there is no justification for how to make them.
In order not to deprive farmers of the opportunity to receive support despite the fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria, the NAZ initiated a change in the Ordinance.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food publishes the new amendment to the Ordinance to supplement Ordinance No. 4, which will enable farmers to submit through the Electronic Management System (EMS) or to replace already submitted plans and documents in the period September 25 – October 9, 2023 .
Adjustments to the application can be made under three eco-schemes – eco-scheme for preservation and restoration of soil potential, eco-scheme for extensive maintenance of permanently grassed areas, as well as the intervention for production-related income support for fruit.
