Guided Tour of President Talon at the CCP School Museum
On a state visit to China, President Patrice Talon went this Thursday, August 31, 2023 to the museum of the School of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The School of the Chinese Communist Party was founded on March 13, 1933 by the central committee of the party. It is a center of excellence and capacity building for civil servants who are members of this party. It makes it possible to train Chinese leaders who will exercise important functions, in the provinces or at the national level. Each year, more than 700,000 executives are trained through its 3,000 decentralized poles on the different theories that constitute its guiding ideas; strengthening the vision and commitment of its members; leadership and the fight against corruption. During his visit, President Patrice Talon, for more than thirty minutes, scrutinized the archives and photos present in this museum which houses the memory of the party and highlights the great figures of its history (from Mao Tse Toung to to President Xi Jinping). At the end of the visit to the museum, the members of President Talon’s delegation and some senior party officials exchanged views. “Sustainable development is never the result of chance. It is clear that it is a process, and that this school forges the process of thought and implementation of actions over several generations. It’s impressive to see how much a central tool can contribute over time to thinking, efficiency and governance to bring China to where it is today. This school is a great inspiration which attests to the commitment of the Chinese elites”, suggested President Talon. It should be noted that when he arrived at this school, it was the vice-president of the CCP school, Xue Chuntao who welcomed him. It should be noted that President Talon will have a one-on-one with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping this Friday, September 1.
