Gotabhaya government seizes gold reserves – shocking information released

United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) parliamentarian Harsha de Silva has said that about half of the gold reserves held by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka have been sold.

Of the $ 382 million worth of gold, only $ 175.4 million is currently in reserve, he said.

He also questioned how Sri Lanka would repay the $ 500 million loan installment. He made these comments when he posted on his Twitter.
