Tel Aviv, Israel – A wave of violent order violations in South Tel Aviv has resulted in numerous casualties, with injured individuals flooding local hospitals. Dr. Esti Seig, Vice President of Emergency at Ichilov Hospital, recently provided an update on the situation and expressed concern about the escalating number of wounded.

According to Dr. Seig, 38 injured individuals have been admitted to Ichilov Hospital thus far, and the influx of wounded shows no signs of abating. She noted that all the latest arrivals at the hospital are in a serious condition, with 12 of them suffering from head injuries. The medical staff has already performed surgeries on the most critical cases, while others are being treated in trauma rooms. The situation has prompted the hospital to declare a major multiple casualty event, with additional medical teams being called in to cope with the mounting number of injured.

Dr. Seig emphasized the challenges posed by the evolving situation, stating, “The main problem is the uncertainty from the ground because the event is unfolding. We are seemingly preparing for another whole wave.” In response, the hospital has begun evacuating areas that received the initial wounded, in order to make space for the anticipated influx of patients.

In light of the incident, Ichilov Hospital has established an information center for the public to seek assistance or updates on the situation. Individuals can reach out by dialing 133-1255.

Meanwhile, other hospitals in the area have also reported receiving injured individuals. Shamir Assaf Harofeh Hospital reported that five injured individuals arrived at the trauma room, with one in moderate condition and four in mild condition. The Wolfson Medical Center informed that they are currently treating 22 wounded individuals, including one on a ventilator, one with a head injury to be transferred to Tel Hashomer, and the rest in mild to moderate conditions. The Sheba Medical Center admitted 24 injured patients, including nine police officers, with 22 in mild condition and two in severe condition.

Addressing the gravity of the situation, the Prime Minister’s Office released an unusual statement acknowledging the disorder and pledging to restore public order promptly. According to the announcement, the Prime Minister received updates from the Minister of National Security and the Commissioner on the violations of order in Tel Aviv.

As the situation continues to unfold, authorities and medical professionals are working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected individuals while restoring order to the area.
