The Filmworks and Acting Technician for Cinema and TV teacher, Lina Chamie, was the winner of the 2023 Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix in the Best Documentary Feature Film category with the work Kobra Self Portrait.
The award ceremony of the 22nd edition of the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro, one of the most prestigious celebrations of national cinema, took place on Wednesday night (23) at Cidade das Artes, in Rio de Janeiro. The presentation was led by Claudia Abreu e Silvio Guindaneresponsible for presenting the delivery of the coveted Grande Otelo trophies.
During her thanks, the teacher and filmmaker dedicated her award to students and new filmmakers.
“I wanted to dedicate this award to the new generations, to my students, to young filmmakers who haven’t made their first film yet. Everything is possible! ”, thanked Lina Chamie

The work dives into the trajectory and inspirations of the muralist artist, revealing his creative process, ranging from childhood to worldwide success, passing through illegal graffiti on the streets of São Paulo to painting large murals in more than 30 countries and becoming one of the artists most famous streets in the world.
