He is guaranteed to be more tender with his Laura…

The “Schlag den Star” fans were looking forward to a long TV evening on Saturday. DSDS icon Pietro Lombardi (31) and comedian Chris Tall (32) ventured into the full-length games, which this time caused a muffled noise, especially for moderator Elton (52) and commentator Ron Ringguth (57).

At the beginning of the show, Elton suspected that he would be dealing with two spirited stars: “We have two wild youngsters tonight who are just bursting with ambition!”

“Wild” also seemed to be the keyword for game two – at least for Pietro Lombardi. Using a forklift, the two celebrity contestants were supposed to pick up balls first and then sort them into a giant match-four-style game, only in this case three balls in a row was enough.

“I am a little scared”

However, Pietro had his problems with the vehicle and called out right from the start: “I need an expert!”

Meanwhile, Pietro got confused with the gear sticks – Elton could hardly believe it: “These are two levers!” Lombardi’s nerves were already on edge: “The game is nothing for me.”

He seemed to be right about that, because the further attempts to bring the ball to the goal with the forklift truck caused fear and terror. Ron Ringguth could hardly believe what he saw: “Where is he going? What’s the plan?”

But Pietro was already crashing into the play construction with the forks of the forklift and screaming: “Aaah, what am I doing here?!” Ringguth panicked: “Don’t break that thing! What’s hanging down there? The Lombardi has already broken something. I’m afraid that everything will collapse here soon!”

Elton threatens to lose a point

Elton was already threatening to lose points: “If you break that thing, you’ve lost the game.” Now it was also shown in slow motion how Lombardi had rushed into the scenery and the electrical installation had crashed down. Technicians quickly rushed to the scene of the accident to fix it – but Elton had already given up: “You’re building, why? stop it. It’ll be broken again soon. Thank you for your commitment. But unfortunately that makes no sense.”

Elton was visibly relieved when the game was finally over – with a game win for Chris Tall. He quickly asked the candidates: “Just turn off the engine.”

But Elton also worried about the props in the game “Balance-Pipe”. Here a large tube had to be moved without touching the frame. Again Lombardi moved suspiciously rough – Elton couldn’t resist a hint: “The same applies here: If you break it, the game is lost!” Ringguth remembered the forklift disaster with horror: “It will be after the game anyway checked with the forklift whether he has liability.”

In the further course of the evening, things didn’t go smoothly for the DSDS star, and so the “Beat the Star” evening wasn’t quite as long as it often is. Shortly after midnight, Lombardi’s opponent Chris Tall had his first match point game. Everything was at stake in the game “Schutten”: Several yellow balls had to be carefully divided into glasses – albeit under time pressure.

In the end it was close, but at 0.22 Chris Tall was able to celebrate: He defeated his opponent and was able to receive the coveted suitcase of money with 100,000 euros.

On 09/30 a comedy double pack awaits the “Beat the Star” fans. Then Michael Mittermeier (57) and Olaf Schubert (55) compete against each other.
