Then he tried to strangle one of the detectives,” it was reported. The interview with the man who was attacked, Haim Mizrahi, on the “Arab Evening” program provoked a great deal of criticism.
Haim Mizrahi, who was beaten in Jerusalem by police because he remarked to them that they had hit the car: “They handcuffed me. I was abused and begged to be taken out. The detectives further explained: ‘We were on our way to rescue a policeman who was attacked in a demonstration against the cell phones. We hit the vehicle unintentionally and took the plate number to contact the driver later. The guy commented to us and we told him there was no problem because we took the plaque. We showed him our police IDs and that we are detectives rushing to the incident. “
The police said: “The circumstances of the arrest of a young man by the detective force who was called to deal with disturbances yesterday in Jerusalem are being investigated by DIP. As long as it is found that any of the detectives who were there acted illegally, the matter will be dealt with accordingly.
“At the same time, we emphasize that the activity of the police forces against riots, vandalism, threats and violence against the business owners in the place, and especially against the cellular shops, will continue as required.

Haim Mizrahi, a passerby who was documented yesterday being attacked by police in the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem, told last night about what happened to him on Wednesday. In an interview with Sharon Wechsler and Uri Levy on the “Arab Evening” program here 11, Mizrahi said: “I went out for a break and saw a car that was shorting another vehicle. I ran to the driver and told him that. “I was beaten in the car. Inside the car, I was beaten – until now I have a headache. I was just abused.”
Mizrahi went on to describe what happened on the car: “The policeman pressed hard on the handcuffs and punched me in the head. I said ‘I’m not breathing, I’m not breathing’ – and he replied ‘you breathe, you breathe. Do not worry’ and gave me more punches and punches.” According to him, from there he was brought to a police station in the Russian compound. “They put handcuffs on my hands and feet.
