The lead singer of Ultraje a Rigor, Roger Moreira, updated the health status of bassist Rinaldo Oliveira Amaral, better known as Mingau.
In the early hours of this Sunday, the 3rd, Porridge got shot in the head. The incident took place in the municipality of Paraty, in Rio de Janeiro.

“We already got everything we needed,” Roger wrote on Twitter. “Porridge is already being served. Now we ask you to pray, pray, think positive. Let’s hope. Thank you very much.”
So far, there is no information on how the Ultraje a Rigor bassist suffered the attack.

Request for help
Earlier, when informing fans of the incident involving Porridge, Roger asked for the referral of neurosurgeons to help his bandmate.
“If anyone knows of any available, please let me know,” wrote Roger. “Thanks!”

who is porridge
Ultraje a Rigor’s bassist was born on September 3, 1967. He was guitarist for the band Ratos do Porão, from 1982 to 1985, and participated in several projects in the 1980s
Porridge recorded the discs SUB e Crucified by the System, as guitarist for Ratos do Porão. After leaving the group, he started the band 365. There he began his career as a bassist, alongside Miro de Melo (drums), Ari Baltazar (Guitar) and Finho (Vocals). He left the band in 1989 and left for Inocentes.
In 1996, he was part of the band Olho Seco. He participated in the album Will there be a future?after which the band disbanded.
Three years later, in 1999, Mingau joined Ultraje a Rigor. Since 2000, alongside musicians Caio Mancini, Claudia Gomes and Marcos Kleine, also from Ultraje, he founded the band Vega.
