The first reviews for Starfield were officially published across various gaming outlets, both in print and on video, sparking a plethora of feedback regarding what to expect from Bethesda’s new release. However, it has been the analysis of a Meristation journalist that unleashed an unnecessary load on social networks, specifically on Twitter.
Turns out, Alejandro Castillothe person in charge of the review, gave it a score of 5.8 mentioning among its negative points that the concept of the game has not been up to the task, as well as its limited exploration options. Of course, it rescues the moments of action and customization of the ship.
The exposure of his analysis on the internet and the note he posted was justification for a certain sector of individuals, some protected by anonymity, in not only attacking the review, but also going directly to the journalist’s personal account to insult him with all the derogatory labels possible.
In his account, Castillo left a message regarding what happened: “Threats, insults. “We’re coming for you.” “We are going to skin you.” The reflection of the society without filters, without education, that of the loudspeaker that has no consequences. Today I am the victim of the hunt. Yesterday it was a partner. Tomorrow will be another. When will common sense reign?«.

None of those who are insulting @Acastillo117 they reach the soles of his shoes. Whoever cannot argue or debate without disrespect only deserves contempt and oblivion.

One more day in which you have to remember that you can point out the defects of a game and that even so it is not bad and is entertaining, that an 8.5 is a good grade, that there is something very enriching called disparity of opinions and that there is to wait to try something to judge it.

The messages of solidarity have arrived, but there will be no shortage of those who continue to insist and justify that threatening someone is the right thing to do for not agreeing with having given their “low score”favorite/most anticipated game of the year«.
It is clear that a long-awaited video game like Starfield can unleash all kinds of passions, but nothing, absolutely NOTHING, is a justification to go against a person just because they have a completely different opinion from yours. Unfortunately, there are people who have lost common sense, and social networks have also become the favorite trench for many to feel brave.
