In the presence of a large number of candidates, leaders of the party and residents of Rhodes, today Father Grigorios of the parish of Agios Ioannou, city of Rhodes and Father Kyriakos of the Holy Church of Agia Irene of the University of the Aegean, celebrated the consecration in the election center of the candidate Mayor of Rhodes Nikos Geronikolas and of the “Organization Principle” for our island.

At the end of the ceremony, the candidate Mayor of Rhodes, Nikos Geronikolas, thanked all the co-candidates and the people who attended and invited them to go out to every street, every district, every village, so that they can listen and carefully record what they have let the citizens of our island say.

In particular, in his greeting, the candidate Mayor of Rhodes, Nikos Geronikolas, emphasized, among other things:

Thank you Father Gregory and Father Kyriakos,

today’s consecration ceremony essentially closes the cycle of the formation of the ballot, for which I am personally proud of the persons who rallied around us.

I thank our team, the team that worked non-stop in the last months so that today’s ceremony is not only a reality, but a ceremony with the participation of people who will be in tomorrow’s Rhodes Municipal Council and in the Local Councils of our island.

Congratulations to each and every one of you.

At the same time, today’s consecration ceremony is the beginning of a new cycle of work, until October 15. The pre-election period creates demands and we have to serve them.

We have to go out into society, talk to citizens with only one goal in mind:

Let’s listen honestly to what they have to say.

The citizens of our island do not want to hear promises again.

The citizens of our island want to speak and for their words to take hold.

So, we go out into the streets, the districts and the villages, … and with pencil and paper in hand, we record everything.

Trust me, you’ll be surprised at what you hear.

You will see that for citizens, improving everyday life means direct interventions, most of them free of cost. You see, the inhabitants of our island are people of work and household. Most people don’t expect anything from anyone. They only ask one thing from the municipality of Rhodes:

They want him to be a good householder, who takes care of the townspeople as if they were his family, his house and his yard. A municipality that takes care of their good image and their safety.

If they ask you to speak about Tomorrow, speak to them from the heart and find a way to marry your visions with their wants.

As an “Organizing Principle” faction as a whole, we have completed our full program and from tomorrow, Monday 04 September, its gradual presentation will begin. With the title “30 sections for a five-year period”, we give a clear picture of our vision, the vision of the “Organization Principle” as a whole for the future.

The faction will make sure that the “30 incisions for a five-year” program is known everywhere. Analyze its designed sections one by one.

You, as the soul of the faction, work with the people of our island, men, women and children. Listen to them honestly, record meticulously and keep one thing in mind:

We start work from January 1, 2024 and what you have recorded will be the beginning of our first interventions as the Municipal Authority of Rhodes. It will be the beginning of the “Organization Principle” for our island.
