Mathieu Kassovitz, 56, was this Sunday evening in a state deemed “serious” but “his vital prognosis is no longer engaged”, according to his entourage. The actor and director was the victim of a motorcycle accident a little earlier at the end of the afternoon while he was on the Linas-Montlhéry racing circuit, in Essonne.

According to information from BFM TV confirmed by a police source and by the prosecution of Évry-Courcouronnes to the Parisian, he was transported to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne) by the Smur d’Arpajon.

He would suffer in particular from a cranial trauma and a fracture of the pelvis.

Two of his three children were present on the circuit. One of his daughters was also on a motorcycle right behind him, with a monitor. They witnessed the accident but were not injured.
