Let us pose the equation of the transition of the CNRD concretely on its essential component, therefore apart from the management of the current affairs of the State since a military transition has neither mandate nor obligation of development:
> The facts: military coup on September 5, 2021; announcement of a charter; composition of transitional bodies; definition of a timetable accompanied by a budget in the form of a ransom of 600 million dollars to be paid to “return” power to democratically elected civilians. ALL THIS IN A NON-CONSENSUAL WAY.
> Fundamental mission announced: return to constitutional order according to the commitments made.
> Methods: solitary and arrogant conduct; smugness; amateur manipulation; populist initiatives; inappropriate combinations…
> Time: sufficiently obtained (two years to test good faith and skills).
> Partners: Businessmen; weather vanes and political adventurers; a few “vuvuzela” in search of crumbs.
> Results: less than 10% ($40 million) mobilized on the total dictated ransom; zero constitution; zero electoral register; zero election management body; zero representative political consensus.
> Urgent recommendation: Give way after an acknowledgment of failure on the fundamental objective to be achieved and the commitments solemnly made.
> Alternative: Rectify the trajectory of the transition through other actors and according to a new scheme (Guinea should not continue to be the thing of an individual even less of a clan).
Did they have time? YES; Did they have the opportunities for success? YES ; Have they been up to grab them? NO; Is it possible to still believe that they have the capacity and the will to do better? NO; Should they continue to lead our common destiny despite all this evidence? NO.
It is up to everyone to answer according to their conscience, their ambitions and the degree of their love for Guinea. Still, the brain and the eyes are used to avoid being dragged by the nose.
