The YouTube video service is crashing, according to users of the DownDetector service. A spike in error messages has been observed in sections of the DownDetector site for users in the Western Hemisphere – in particular, the United States, Canada and Brazil. There are no error messages on the Russian section of the service.
Users in the US mostly complain about problems with watching videos (97%). Also, users from Japan and Hong Kong have reported problems with YouTube.
