Around 10,000 Finns joined a demonstration against racism in central Helsinki.

A mobilization without political affiliation and supported by a hundred organizations.

Finland has recently been the scene of a series of scandals over xenophobic comments made by elements of what is the most right-wing government in the country’s history, formed at the end of June.

Protesters demanded respect for the Finnish constitution, which expressly prohibits any type of racial discrimination.
