BENGALURU: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced that it will raise the orbit of the Aditya-L1 spacecraft for the second time. The next phase of work to elevate the trajectory of the space shuttle is scheduled to take place on September 10. This important development comes after the successful launch of the Aditya-L1 from the Satish Dhawan launch pad in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, just two days ago.

The Aditya-L1, propelled into space by the PSLV-C57 rocket, is set to embark on a remarkable journey of 125 days. It will be stationed at ‘Lagrangian Point One’, located 15 lakh km from Earth. This incredible feat will enable scientists to conduct groundbreaking research and gather valuable data about the Sun and its activities.

The Aditya-L1 spacecraft has already made history by being launched into orbit for the first time. In a significant development, its altitude has now been increased for the second time on September 5.
