The police said that the suspects were questioned again, and they told that they had illegally sought asylum in Southern Cyprus 9 years ago, but the Greek Cypriot administration did not send them to their country, so they came to the country illegally to pass through the TRNC. The police announced that the suspects have not had any legal entry into the country so far.
Noting that the investigation was completed, the police demanded that the suspects be sent to prison for a period not exceeding 2 months.
Judge Özge Uğraşın, evaluating the testimony given in her presence, ordered the suspects to be sent to prison for a period not exceeding 2 months.
