I think we all know how difficult it is now to get to a doctor – a narrow specialist. Sometimes you have to wait more than one month; I personally waited two receptions. My deadline is approaching, and suddenly, literally a day before the long-awaited appointment, I received a call from the medical office:
You have an appointment tomorrow at 12 noon. So we warn you: there will be no reception, the doctor went on vacation. You should re-enroll in a month.
I jumped up in my chair.
– Didn’t understand! When I made an appointment with the doctor two months ago, didn’t you know when she was going on vacation?! And why should I now again have to wait more than one month until the doctor starts working again for who knows how long? You can save my queue and just move it.
There was a long pause at the other end of the wire, and then a stern voice sounded:
-Doctors are people too. And they have the right to go on vacation.
The tube was put down.
Who argues: even doctors need rest. But if it were my will, I would never go to a doctor who organizes her appointments like this. And what do I need specifically this specialist.
Although, to be honest, it’s worth thinking about. If she (and her assistants) treat their potential patients in this way, can we expect a full-fledged treatment from her in the future. Question.
