A literary contest titled Madách 200 will be launched in September for high school students in the Carpathian Basin, and in October the Hungarian National Museum will pay tribute to Imre Madách, an outstanding figure of Hungarian literature and dramatic poetry born 200 years ago, with a chamber exhibition, MTI announced. The chamber exhibition focusing on the person of Madách and his main work, The Tragedy of Man, will open on October 5 and the coins of the ÉremVerde in Szeged will be on display. These will feature typical scenes of each color of The Tragedy of Man, while the other side will feature a portrait of Madách. At the same time, student teams of three from the Carpathian Basin can apply for the three-round Madách 200 competition from the first of September by completing an online test until the beginning of the following month.
