Lijo Jose Pellissery and Mammootty have teamed up for the first time to complete the filming of ‘Nanpakal Nerath Mayakkam’ in the first week of December. It was after that that Mammootty started ‘CBI 5’. It is reported that Mammootty will be in front of Lijo’s camera even after the completion of the film. This short film is part of the anthology that Netflix is preparing for Netflix by combining the stories of MT Vasudevn Nair. The cast and crew have also released a casting call seeking actors for the film.
Lijo is looking for boys aged 9 to 17, women aged 40-70 and men aged 45-70. Applications must be submitted with an unedited photo and performance video. Children should send their applications to [email protected] and adults to [email protected].
Earlier, it was reported that Lijo was making the film based on MT’s story ‘Kadugannava: A Journey’. The story is about a senior journalist who remembers a girl who is believed to be the daughter of another father who worked in Sri Lanka. It is a place name in Sri Lanka. The protagonist’s name is PK Venugopal. The man who has to go to Sri Lanka for an official purpose is dusting off old memories. Mammootty will be playing this character in the film.
