A 3-year-old toddler drowned in a private pool in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. MDA medics and paramedics provided him with medical treatment and he was taken to hospital in critical condition, anesthetized and respirated.
The Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital said that after being treated by an emergency pediatric team, which included oxygen and medication and body warming improved, he began communicating with his family. The toddler is conscious, in a moderate and stable state.
MDA paramedic Haim Haimson said: “The toddler who was pulled from the water was in a vague consciousness and suffered from hypothermia.
