The European Commission has approved a budget of 411 million euros, charged to the European Regional Development Fund, for the construction of the Nonduermas-Vera and Los Arejos-El Puche sections of the Murcia-Almería high-speed line.

Although most of the financing for this project is included in the 2014-2020 programming period that ends at the end of this year, the European Commission foresees that new infrastructure, electrification and signaling system works will be co-financed in the 2021 period. -2027.
