But some employees, because they have no garden, no balcony, could not participate in the operation for lack of plants to exchange. »
With the help of On Va Semer, Aptar Pharma has set up a collaborative vegetable garden within the production and R&D site, a means of intensifying social cohesion in the company of 1,200 employees. Delphine Breuil Let’s sow
It uses On Va Semer, a company created by Delphine Breuil which supports companies and communities in the creation and management of shared gardens. In addition to the activities carried out each month, technical sheets and recipes are sent to the participants who, in turn, take charge of maintaining the vegetable garden.
Social cohesion
The experiment is a success, both in terms of the production of vegetables and the good health of the plants and in terms of the relationship between employees. “It allows for social cohesion. We have set up a schedule, everyone registers according to their availability and we maintain, we pick, we distribute the vegetables to everyone, it’s really nice,” enthuses Céline Daniel. “This allows a sharing at the work level of course, but also at the level of the culture, the garden” between the 50 registered in the workshops and with the new participants who are more and more numerous to register.
If today it is mainly the employees of the premises closest to the vegetable garden who are involved, Céline Daniel aims to involve the company at all levels in order to enhance the recognition of the employee. And so that everyone can participate, a second shared garden space could be set up on the other side of the site, which brings together some 1,200 employees.
